This is the most hilarious video ever. Celine belts out Memory in full Cat regalia, as well as tributes to Madonna, Cindi Lauper...and my favorite, Michael Jackson...How did this not ever make it onto one of those before they were stars shows???

That is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in a long time. The scary thing is she actually still sounds great especially when she sings "Memory" dressed as a Merry-Maid.

Can we send this to ABC and get Celine her own Variety show??

Wow....too funny to see this video pop up on a Broadway site. I've had it as part of my collection for many years now. Celine really has a talent for comedy and acting....this has been much better portrayed on french television than anything they have put out on her in America!

The most frustrating thing after discovering these little jems, is knowing that these are merely a taste of what the full performances were...and who knows who else she could have impersonated??? I bet she would do a great Cher, George Michael...the possibilities are endless!!!

Why didn't she ever play Grizzabella? That Memory was better than any I'd ever heard. The riffs seemed to be in all the right places (unlike Lillas White, who riffed every other word, if I can recall)

If we can't get her in a show, I say let her make a broadway CD.

O...M...G! This is the best discovery on the board EVER! I kept thinking the costumes couldn't get any worse and then they DID! How freakin' cute!!!

Does anyone know what this is from and what year? Was it a TV talent show? The camera angles suggest it wasn't just home video.

For the clips of her as Cindy Lauper and her as the maid signing Memory, those were from a French Canadian Variety television show. Kinda like our Saturday Night Live but with a lot more costumes! She was the guest host that night. I can't remember the name of the show but if I had time to dig through my VHS collection I could tell you!
The clip of her as Michael Jackson was from her Incognito tour that went through Canada. During the concert she would do a few impersonations of other singers. Kinda like Celine Dion goes "Incognito" as Michael Jackson. This tour took place in the late 80s, this was her last big french album before her entrance onto the American scene.
I'm not sure where the Grizabella clip came from actually, but I'm guessing from some French Canadian show. She has done some silly stuff on tv up there!
