What does everyone think? I'm a little bummed that they didn't actually record the prologue. The first track is titled "Overture/Prologue," but the opening medley that they perform in the show isn't actually included.
It also looks like they cut about three minutes of dance music from "The Look-A-Like Contest," but the rest of it is great. Rob McClure and Christiane Noll sound wonderful.

I wish the Prologue was put on the cast recording, but I've been waiting for the cast recording since I saw the show, so I'm not going to be picky!
I do wish the booklet came with lyrics - it's a little difficult to decipher all the counterpoint near the end of "This Man"
Everyone sounds great - a nice "raw" recording.
"This Man" is great. Especially Christiane Noll's bit at the end.
Also, I LOVE Jenn Colella. "All Falls Down" is deliciously evil.

Got an advance copy yesterday and though I did enjoy the show itself, I was bored with the cast recording. I stopped listening to it after track 5. I doubt I'll ever revisit it again. Seems I no longer can sit through cast recordings. The only ones I find myself revisiting are: the 2010 Broadway revival of PROMISES, PROMISES and the one for WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN.
Anyone was able to find Leap of Faith on itunes yet?
Yup and its not half bad...its not half good either but hey...

I think Chaplin sounds wonderful- will check out Leap Of Faith later on
The only song I liked from this show was Jen Colella's "All Falls Down" so that's the only song I bought, and plan to buy. She sounds really good on it though
If you have to wait to purchase or just want to listen, both cast recordings are on Spotify.

So annoying that this seems to be on neither amazon.co.uk or iTunes here in the UK. Nor, Leap of Faith for that matter. Very annoying, and rather surprising as I'm sure they're missing out on custom!
Leap of Faith is sounding good too. It's nice to know that Raul sings "pluckin'" in "Fox in the Henhouse." I always heard something else.

jman16, neither "Chaplin" or "Leap of Faith" are available digitally in the UK (yet), but you can order the CDs via Amazon UK. However, at the moment both CDs are rather expensive. Hopefully they will come down in price soon!
