I got an e-mail the other day from Roundabout to sign up early for the chat and submit my question but I didn't since I might not be at home when it happens.

I registered (among the alloted 500) for this chat yesterday. I dunno if this means I will actually participate or if I'm invited to watch/read?

This is what my e-mail said:
At this exclusive online Q&A, you'll join Sunday in the Park fans and Roundabout subscribers in a chat room where you can instant message questions to your hosts.
Then, you'll watch as Stephen Sondheim and Todd Haimes type back answers-- in real time.
It's free to sign up, but don't wait...space is extremely limited, so register today!

It also said something about first come first served, but that may have just been registration.

Yeah, I registered, but I have no idea how it's going to work. I guess we can all just stare at our computer screens at oggle at Sondheim's typing speed.

I registered as well.
I hope this goes well, and doesn't become attack of the tweens.

Do most tweens care about Sondheim? I thought they mostly cared about Wicked, Spring Awakening, and Rent....

I signed up too
I feel a little bad, cuz so far I can't think of any good questions
But I really want to see all the other questions and responses
I just hate to take up a space if I could have found a transcript somewhere later
Maybe by then I'll have a really great question

I felt the same way. I couldn't think of a question. Most I have had have been answered in other interviews with Sondheim I have seen or read.

I registered! I didn't have a good question yet, so I didn't send one.

I registered and asked which revival of his shows he's enjoyed the most.

Do you think there will be a transcript released?

Registered as well. This sounds so fascinating.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I registered on Tuesday myself.
Unfortunately, I might not be home...
Depends on whether or not I have rehearsal.
This should be pretty cool!

I think it is safe to say the tweens won't be coming to this chat. They only like the first half of Into the Woods and the Sweeney Movie, which they probably think Danny Elfman wrote.

Regestered as well! Don't know if I'll ask any questions. I wrote him a letter about a month ago and he responded to the question I was dying to ask him. However, I have an idea for a quesiton if I get the oppertunity to ask-
Should I tell him Catherine O'Hara NEEDS to be Sally in the "in the works" Follies film, or is that beyond his control? Is this a Sunday in the Park... only chat?

YES, Catherine O'Hara NEEDS to be SALLY!

When the Follies film first announced by Mr. S. himself I suggested O'Hara be Sally on an IMDB board and I was trashed to the high heavens by a bunch of ignorant pigs. She can't sing (Could Johnny Depp?), Barbara Cook (Love her, but she's 80) should do it, etc.
So if I get the chance, I'll ask. Hopefully he won't shoot me down.
I wonder how this'll work. Will this be like a chat room with Sondheim in it? I wonder what AIM slang he knows (just kidding!).

Hi all
Has anyone (everyone?) else received their email with details for the chat tonite?
It said you would get your instructions by 3pm ET today, but I haven't gotten anything yet
I hope I'm not lost somehow -- it says it's full now

I wondered what the alarm notice on my phone was for, heh. Glad you bumped the thread.
