I'd like to start getting binders for my playbills, but the ones sold on Playbill store are a bit pricey for me. Does anyone know or use another method? Also if anyone has any used binders they might want to sell, I could be interested. Thanks!
I used old binders from school and then use staples sheet protectors and fold them over so the playbill is wrapped nicely. It's worked for me for years and all of my playbills are in great condition and sealed for the most part.
I have an offical Playbill one, and while I do like it, it's a bit clunky and very expensive. For the binder itself, I have a few of these and they are great:
http://www.amazon.com/Avery-Durable-Binder-2-Inch-27554/dp/B0006HV8V2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424122092&sr=8-1&keywords=playbill+binder
However, I also got the Avery sheet protectors and they aren't as good as the offical Playbill protectors (they don't fold over or have cardboard). So I buy the Avery binders but the offical plastic protectors. Hope my 2 cents was helpful!

I use the Staples better mini binders. They're the perfect size and you can label the spine. Also, they have pockets for storing tickets, etc.

Someone I know puts them in ziplock bags. Give it a try.

That sounds like a fantastic idea, BIG BALONEY. I trust that fanatical comic book collectors are as serious about protecting their items as fanatical Broadway obsessives. I don't know why I didn't think of looking into that before.
I use a regular binder and sheet protectors from an office supply store. I turn the Playbills sideways and you can fit two into each sheet protector.
(Note: This method does not work for the older Playbills, as they used to be larger in size thus not being able to fit two into each sheet protector.)

Photo boxes, or make your own binder with sheet protectors, like others have said.

I have used the comic book protectors that they sell in those stores.

I second the Avery binders and sheets available from Amazon, they're a perfect fit and affordable! I fit about 25 playbills per binder if I put 2 in a sleeve back to back.
