I'm looking for a way to get a ticket to OOTI for 40$ or under. Is that possible? If so where do I go? I've heard the in-person lottery has been 50$ recently. Is this still true?
If TDF is an option for you, I was lucky enough to get a front row seat for $45.

I don't know if they've changed it - but it was always $40 for the lottery winners. They sometimes have a secondary "lottery losers" ticket sales for more than that if there are still available seats after the lottery is over. Maybe that's what this is?
I did the lottery Sunday night, and it was $49 for the winners, and $59 for the secondary winners. I didn't win anything but they still eventually sold me a $59 ticket and I think about 55 people eventually got in who showed up for the lottery.
But they raised the prices for lottery winners so I don't think, you can get in for $39 anymore that way.

It hasn't been $40 in a while. It's now almost always $49.50 and $59.50 for the lottery losers if there are any tickets left. Standing room is also $49.50 which is sometimes (like last night) all they offer thru the lottery and IMO is an obscene amount to pay to stand. There is nothing available for $40.
When I saw it literally everyone there - some 100 people - all got in for $40-60. Smart of them to raise the rush just a little since it's proven to be a popular way to get people in.
