Why do some people hate Cheno? She rocks! Shes so talented and so sweet! I love her! Hence the icon!
Well with such a compelling argument, I dare not respond.
The icon picture is good man. She must be nice.
That's funny sh*t sum.

This hatred of Chenoweth stems from an obsessive hatred of anything Wicked that some posters here have . This hatred that this vocal minority have is a result of many factors, including:
1. Anger at new/younger Broadway fans because God knows you should never have any interest in Broadway and musical theater without prior knowledge of any of the great shows of the past...even if you are young and just introduced to Broadway. Also, you cannot say any of the new shows are the "best" because all the knowledgeable posters know that they are just fads.
2. Wicked being the favorite at the Tonys. We all know that the Tonys are the most important thing in the world. How dare the voting members vote for who they want! Forget their opinion, they should only vote for who the "cultured" "true" broadway fans think should win.
3. The unspeakable unprofessionalism that Chenoweth and Menzel have shown in their performances. How dare they laugh and giggle, causing the audience to laugh with them! They have ruined the name of Broadway performer! They should be banned from not only Broadway, but from making a living all together!
Before you guys flame me, this post was all in jest, so don't take it too seriously.
Cheno a conceited bitch?
Someone has very inaccurate pre-conceived notions.
It's ok to not like someone, but that's just cruel! She does not have to be your friend. Her job is to perform in the show, which she does really well. Who cares about who she is as a person?
i am laughing my head off at that link. LOL. and props.
She's an actress, she can take some criticism. I don't care if you like how I feel or not. But if I have to listen to ten thousand posters constantly raving about Kristin Chenoweth, then you can listen to one person give his opinion.
sum of all things - I like her, but that link is hilarious - I laughed out loud so hard I thought I might get fired!LOL...you go, boy! (girl?)
The glory of double posts...
"you go, boy! (girl?)"
Depends on the mood, just kidding, I am a man. That reminds me of Family Guy.

I honestly think that Rob should have a UK Broadway World Board, a USA Broadway World Board, Off Topic Board and a Wicked Board so that the inane, self promoting, repetitious drivel that see over, and over, and over again can be contained in one, simple board that will interest the Defying Gravity obsessed, Kristin Chenoweth stroking fans of the so-called musical Wicked.
A simple glance at this board is reason enough to have a support group dedicated to the Wicked obssessed fans. Why should a Broadway board be dedicated to one boring, over inflated show?
Quite frankly I could care less about what you have to say in response to the above. The high fives and congratulatory posts that will come after the fanatics try to tear down my post has little to no effect on how I feel. So tear down my opinion and give yourselves a pat on the back, but in the long run. I am very much right and you are very much wrong.
Isn't it possible that there are people on here who actually don't like WICKED because they do not believe it to be a good show?
Oh no...we're just all a bunch of haters here.
robbie, who manages to somehow like both Chenoweth and Menzel and still not like WICKED.
See, what'd I tell you, Chenoway has that special ring to it. It's even got it's own thread now!
Come on, guys, I think it's about time this became the "ChenowayWorld.com" message board...
There is a message board for Wicked called Vertigree. Maybe some of ya'l might like it
I'm not an obsessed Wicked fan, so don't worry about this being a fanatical Wicked/Chenoweth/Idina response. It is just a rational one.
"...the so-called musical Wicked."
How is it "so-called"? It is a musical.
Sumofallthings - Your rant is all in vain. If it's not Wicked, it's another show. When the next blockbuster opens, you'll be hearing about it just as much. Since Wicked is on Broadway, and this is a Broadway message board, then they can say as much about Wicked and its stars as they want. If you don't want to read about it, then don't click any tpoics with anything Wicked-esque in the title. If you want to discuss something other than Wicked, start your own thread.
"Quite frankly I could care less about what you have to say in response to the above."
Obviously not, or you would never have responded to their already existing replies.
"...but in the long run. I am very much right and you are very much wrong."
How so? What exactly are you right about? Chenoweth's personality? Then you must know her rather well. About this message board being dedicated to one show regardless your opinion of it? Hardly. Of the first 100 topics currently on the board, 17 are directly related to Wicked. I think most would agree that 17% of ANYTHING would be considered DOMINATION. About your opinion of Wicked? That's your opinion and you can hate the show all you want, but there will always be fans of every show and no one has to agree with you.
No matter how you look at it, in the short or long run, you are wrong.
I actually agree with a lot of what Vietgrl said, particularly #1. I don't think that people who disliked Wicked are just "haters" and "Wickedbashers," but there is a LOT of negativity from many of those people who seem to think that those who DO like Wicked don't know good musicals when they see it and are just following the "fad." I've already posted my thoughts on this topic MANY times, but I'll say it again...
Disliking Wicked is okay, acting like you are superior to all those who DO like Wicked is not.
And sumofall...like disliking Wicked, disliking Kristin as a performer is okay too, even though we might not all agree. HOWEVER, the mere fact that she is talked about excessively on this board is NO reason to be calling her what you did. She is one of the most caring and generous people I have EVER met, and she does the absolute nicest things for fans. Unless you have a good reason, I would not go around calling her conceited, among other words.
You and some other posters here need to get over yourselves and realize that people have DIFFERENT opinions that deserve to be respected. Just because you don't like a show that happens to be "popular" doesn't make you more intelligent or mature than anyone else. It doesn't make you any less, either.
My new favorite quote, because people here forget it so often it makes me want to throw my computer out the window:
THEATRE IS SUBJECTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
