Chicago

You know who I think would be a good Chicago cast are

Roxie Hart-Kerry Butler
Velma Kelly-Susan Egan
Billy Fylnn-Will Chase
Matron "Mama" Morton-Mary Stout
Amos Hart-John Cudia

Hmmm.... I'm actually liking the Susan Egan idea. Never thought of that before.

re: Chicago

How about...

Roxie Hart - Harvey Firestein
Velma Kelly - Joan Rivers
Billy Fylnn - Joey Fatone
Matron "Mama" Morton - Rod from Avenue Q
Amos Hart - Mary J. Blidge

that works, I think...

re: Chicago

Harvey Friestien as Roxie? How would he fit into the sliky costumes? And he needs to to have a high range.

re: Chicago

I LOOOOVEEE the Susan Egan idea. She's PERFECT for that role. She can definitely dance and act the part, and singing isn't an issue for her. I also agree with Kerry Butler. We haven't seen her dancing, though.

re: Chicago

And Billy Fylnn could be prtrayed by Will Chase, Joey Fatone, Adam Pascal or even John Selya (of Movin Out).

re: Chicago

Susan Egan already has bobbed hair to use as Velma.

re: Chicago

Hugh Jackman was offered the role of Billy Flynn in the movie but he turned it down because he thought he was "too young." Hence, we got Richard Gere.

re: Chicago

Susan Eagan's hair has worked for everything.

re: Chicago

I think Susan Egan would be perfect! She's got a great voice, and her Velma would be incredible!

Rod would be GREAT as Mama! "When your good to Mama, Mama's good to YOOOOOOOOU!" re: Chicago

re: Chicago

we've seen kerry dancing. this was when she was Penny in Hairspray. i know that it is kind of hard to judge though, because she was supposed to dance like a loser. those are great ideas though!

re: Chicago

kerry has openly said that she isn't much of a dancer, and that dancing off-beat was easy, but having to dance well during the finale was hard.

re: Chicago

oh. oops. now i feel like an idiot.

No. I am the loser because I knew the real answer. lol

re: Chicago

How about Kirsten Chenoweth as Roxie Hart, Susan Egan as Velma Kelly, John Selya as Billy Flynn, Beth Fowler as Matron "Mama" Morton and Patrick Wilson as Amos Hart?

Won't any one anwser my question!

re: Chicago

How about Kirsten Chenoweth as Roxie? Yes it's a big jump for her but I'm comfant that she can do Roxie.
#20

re: Chicago

That would be possibly more hideous than Melanie Griffith. Her name is Kristin, by the way. Not Kirstin.
#21

re: Chicago

I think it'd be funny to see her shot someone. She's just so cute! But I could definately see her do Roxie's numbers
#22

re: Chicago

Totally! How about Kristen Chenoweth as Roxie Hart alongside Susan Egan as Velma Kelly and Hugh Panero as Billy Fylnn!

re: Chicago

Harvey would be better than Kristen...
