Has anyone tried Chicago rush since it reopened? Looking to rush for Saturday evening, is getting there at box office open early enough?

I, too, have been trying to find any info about Chicago rush. But I’m pretty sure (before the shut down) that they didn’t sell rush tickets for Saturday eve performances

Tried today. Got there at 9:20, only 11 people in front of me. By the doors opened that number had doubled. There were no rush tickets available for either show but they were selling Standing Room for $27

Has anyone rushed lately? Do they tend to offer on Saturdays?

I remember those pre-sunrise meet-ups outside of the Shubert Theatre in the late 1990s for those glorious $20 front row Rush tickets. Back then the show was still brand-new and each new cast change was more explosive each time. CHICAGO was one of Broadway’s big events for years.

Bumping this. Any recent reports? Do they ever have rush later in the day?

I rushed successfully last Monday. I stopped by the box office around 6:15pm for a 7pm curtain and got Row C, partial view, for $49. I was surprised that they had rush seats left that late, but it worked out!

Any updates on how rush has been with Pam in the cast? A late walkup occasion like Miss Saigon or an early morning only endeavor?

I have a ticket for a Sunday evening for sale but it’s with Emma Pittman haha
Pam Anderson is in until Sunday the 5th, so I'm assuming you mean one of the following Sundays? Or is Pam not in both shows Sunday the 5th?

Hi theater friends. Anyone tried Chicago rush tickets with Jinkx Monsoon? I see the show is selling fairly well last week (ending 1/15/23) $627K and 91%. This was before Ms Monsoon started on the 16th I believe. wowza!
I guess I'll just have to try. Would love to see but won't splurge for full price... Any info is much appreciated.
Thx

I went by last Saturday just to check it out. The attendant said they hadn’t sold rush that day and usually will not have it available on weekends, but it’s more likely during the week.
They also said SRO has been available most days, when the box office opens.

Has anyone had any luck with Sunday rush recently?
I’m debating on whether to try for Sunday with 2 shows or Monday!

Maybe not an easy weekend to try it? It is a long holiday weekend and vacation week for families with kids in school? Let us know how it goes! I have been thinking about it.

I went to the box office around noon on 2/18 and they were sold out of rush and SRO for both shows.

In general, and the recent flurry of interest with the casting of Jinkx Monsoon aside, what is the likelihood of getting rush tickets if you show up early on a Monday? Recent replies have been a bit all over the map about whether rush is even available, although I did wonder how much luck people have if they showed up earlier.
TKTS prices today are higher than expected ($121 for tonight's show, for example). My daughter is interested in seeing the show on a June trip, but I'm wondering if Monday is more difficult because there are fewer shows available.
