Hello. I just saw a Facebook post about a Chicago production at the Moonlight Theatre in Vista, CA (from Sept. 12 -- 29). There's a cast graphic, with Roxanne Carrasco as Velma Kelly and Terra C as Roxie Hart. Aside from those two ladies, I don't recognize any of the other performers. Maybe Miss Terra will rejoin the Cellblock Tour at some point, as it starts in Sept. in Kansas City. http://www.moonlightstage.com/performances/chicago-at-the-moonlight-amphitheatre
Terra C (MacLeod) will be playing Roxie Hart for (possibly) the very first time in her career. This production of the Moonlight Stage in Vista (San Diego County), California has a special significance for Terra C. Originally, she was to have been directed by her partner Rick Pessagno, who sadly passed away earlier this year. She is performing as Roxie and was also asked to co-direct, in his memory. This "Chicago" company is directed by James Vasquez and choreographed by tour veteran Corey Wright. The production will run from Sept. 12-29, 2018. Terra C will then join the upcoming Cellblock Tour in October and will stay with them till March 2019.
I’d like to say Rick is one of my fav Billy’s

Wow, this NZ Billy Flynn is quite easy on the eyes. I hope he gets a chance to perform the role at the Ambassador. https://www.broadwayworld.com/videoplay/VIDEO-Sneak-Peek-at-Chicagos-Upcoming-Run-in-New-Zealand-20180907
I didn't know about the passing of Rick Pessagno, or that he was Terra's partner. Such a bittersweet story but so touching she's able to honor this legacy with this Moonlight Theatre production.
At the moment, Angel Reda is playing Roxie Hart, along with Amra Faye Wright as Velma Kelly in the current tour for a limited time, until Terra C and Dylis Croman return to their respective roles. I don't know who's playing Velma Kelly on Broadway right now.
https://www.telecharge.com/Broadway/Chicago/Overview A new Mama Morton is in town. Her name is Raena Whiteas. She plays Mama until Nov. 18th. Meanwhile, Naomi C. Walley is Velma Kelly until Sept. 23rd. AFW returns as Velma from Sept. 24-- Jan. 27th.
Angel isn't returning after her tour stint. She has The Cher Show up next for her. Just odd that the show's website or Playbill Vault doesn't properly have the correct cast lists.
I wonder who'll be Roxie/Billy Flynn and Mama Morton when I see the show in December. I would love to see Amy Spanger as Roxie. She hasn't been on the show for a few years.
Sorry, but no one else beside AFW for Velma in the NY Company? No one?
Naomi C. Walley is a very talented Velma understudy. Donna Marie Asbury is uber talented and has a phenomenal voice. DMA is a former Evita, after all.
That's great. I love Donna Marie Asbury. Not familiar with Naomi Walley. But they're not contracted to the Principal role of Velma.
They did have Lana Gordon fill in from Aug. 15 - Nov. 26, 2016; Feb. 27 - May 14, 2017 & July 24 - Sept. 10, 2017. Plus Leigh Zimmerman from Oct. 30 - Dec. 10, 2017 & Terra C. just did a short stint this summer. I agree that AFW should've retired years ago. And I loved it if Carly Hughes returned for a long run.
Bianca Marroquin is returning as Roxie Hart from October 6--Dec 2, 2018.
I saw in the Playbill Vault for "Anastasia" that Vicki Lewis (former Velma Kelly) is part of the cast as "Countess Lilly".

I saw the show yesterday.
Cuba does nothing to the role.
Bianca and the actress playing Mama Morton are amazing!
The show is very good.
I found this on You Tube. Girl has some pipes! (Angel Reda) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6fo2GzQCp4
I want to see Chicago so bad! I had bought tickets but got appendicitis the day before... I had watched the movie what seemed like millions of times and was so excited to see it! Oh well, maybe another time!

Angel is now with The Cher Show. Kudos to her! There's been some ensemble replacements recently. Playbill Vault has the updated cast list.
Contact telecharge. “Chicago” is pretty good at honoring past dated tickets.

The football player Eddie George is going to join the tour for the Dallas stop, (he played Billy on Broadway back in 2016), according to an advertisement I saw on YouTube. I don't know if he is joining the cast just for Dallas or if he is staying on.
Dallas always seems to get a weird stunt cast when Chicago comes to town. Back in 2006 or 07 Lisa Rhinna joined the cast for that stop only before heading to Broadway.
The U.S. tour cast is finally included in the main Chicago website. https://chicagothemusical.com/ustourcast/
