Was very surprised and happy to see that Ms. Noll was the guest artist at the Queens Symphony's annual concert at St. John's University. Constantine Kitsopoulos, who just finished up musical directing CATERED AFFAIR, and previously did DRACULA and LA BOHEME, held the baton, as he has for the past 3 years.
It was a Broadway/jazz themed night and they played selections from CHICAGO, a Cole Porter medley, the three dance suites from ON THE TOWN, the overture to CANDIDE, some Duke Ellington, and more tunes.
Noll, who I like to refer to as the great talent who got lost in the shuffle of Sutton Foster and Kelli O'Hara, woke the crowd up with a Harold Arlen medley, and a medley of Kickin' the Clouds and Can't Be Bothered.
I wish Noll would be seen on stage more! She was one of the best parts of FRANKENSTEIN.

I just adore Christiane and agree with you about her talent. I have all her solo albums and my favorite is the Ira Gershwin one...I would have killed to see her tonight! Oh well. Anyone have any news on what she's up to?
Never got to see her in Witches of Eastwick either...too bad.

signing info
She will be in Ace at Signature (VA)in late August/September. She also performed with the National Symphony at Wolf Trap last month (though I wish she had more songs).
Her new CD is great. I have played it constantly.

How in the world did I not know she had a new CD out? I'm such a bad fan. :)
She was the only reason to see FRANKENSTEIN.

Her new CD is available from Amazon on the 12th. Yeah!!
It has been available on Itunes for months. I have the downloads, but will get a hard copy when it comes out.
It is VERY good.
Yes, she was the best part of Frankenstein (how I wish the OCR would be released).
I adore Christiane Noll. One of my favorite voices.
"Lost in the shuffle?
She has always done well and maybe her great hand has not been dealt yet.
She will shine.
