So was that idea scrapped from LOVE NEVER DIES? I haven't heard anything about it.

The first rule of Christine-bot is you do not talk about Christine-bot.
The second rule of Christine-bot is you DO NOT talk about Christine-bot!
i think the bot is mentioned explicitly in a few of the reviews. like her first entrance is actually the bot or something.
I have a great idea . . why don't they just do a "Disney Hall of President's" style android version of Phantom and Phantom II and click-track the whole thing . . . then Crawford and Brightman can perform Now and Forever!!!!

^ "Lars and the Real Girl" anyone? Hahaha ew.
That container she/it is standing in reminds me of an adult toy from the back corner of Spencers Gifts.

For a second there I thought it was referring to Christine Ebersole. I stage doored after a performance of "Blithe Spirit" last spring and she seemed to be floating on her own little cloud, drifting from person to person and looking vaguely stoned.
Look at the bot container, and then look at the balcony set for the big duet. Freud would have a field day!
Does Sierra actually play Christine-bot or is it just a mannequin?
I feel sorry for her if it is her. Having to stand there all that time and not movemust suck.
New Video!
I have a feeling it is Christine's understudy - Celia Graham, who is the Christine Bot. I could be well wrong though.
I think it is her... why would they put a mic on a Christine-bot.
The hell with Freud, that set piece is in every gynecological text book ever printed!
"Stand in giant Va-jay-jay and sing Christine!"
it sure looks like her. bwaybaby18, i think they'd have every actor onstage mic'd (how do you spell that?) so the mic doesn't mean anything. but there are a couple of close ups in that video where you can tell it's her.
SNAFU - I just peed my pants with laughter. You just made my day!
Robo-Christine comprises about 79% of my reasons for wanting to see the show. It used to be 80%, but the unintentional sexual symbolism gained footing.
piperlacyboo, i just meant in general that it was an actress because of the mic. But i do think it is her... at least for that filming it was.
gotcha. in poto they make one of the chorus girls stand perfectly still as the mannequin in the brides dress behind the mirror thingy during the entire music of the night scene. i didn't realize you were thinking it may be just a prop replica of christine.
Yep, that's generally the track for the Christine understudy/Princess. Although she is replaced after the lights come back up after "Music of the Night."
