Christine-bot in LOVE NEVER DIES...

... Summer Stradlen (sp?) seems to have let the cat out of the bag about Christine-bot in LOVE NEVER DIES on the videoblog. I guess she/it is an integral part of Act I, and Christine herself does not appear until the end of the act. Interesting.

Reading that made me smile. This is going to be excellent.

The plot of this show sounds like something Max Bialistock should have produced for his scheme to work.

Since the physical production is what i'm into, Im facinated by 2 things that were in the birthday video: the diagram behind the director (looks like a set diagram to me) and the lines on the floor that indicate a possible use of turntables.

Well, THOU SHALT NOT had 3 turntables and Stro utilized them in quite interesting ways during the scene changes. And the ballet(s).

Although listening back to what Summer said, she said they will be rehearsing the first half and went up to Christine's entrance and will go on (continue) after lunch, that does not sound to me like Christine does not come on till the end of act 1.

I wonder that's that thing in the background when Summer is on, It looks like a silver skeleton with a bit red something around the waist. You don't suppose that's something to do with the Christine-bot?

ythcactor, I don't know, to be honest. It says there are 2 discs so I would assume its the regular album, but again, I'm unsure.

I hope they release more info on the CD on Amazon. I want to order the DVD with it... Has anyone ordered a copy yet?

Christine-bot in LOVE NEVER DIES...

I pre-ordered my copy. I was actually fortunate to have orderd it earlier last week. The price was only $22.95 as opposed to the $32.95 it is now. Personally, I don't care as much for the bonus materials with the deluxe album as much as I ordered the CD for the purpose of hearing the music, but just my opinion.

Thanks for helping me. I am trying to order a copy soon and I am not sure where to get it and all that stuff. So they did have the entire cast on this recording? Haha I know you probably know as much as I do... I'm just trying to understand this ununderstandable.

In terms of the casting, again, I've no clue. From what I've gathered, the official site is listing the CD as a studio recording while the Playbill article has it as the original London cast recording. There's no doubt Karimloo and Boggess will be on any album as they've reportedly been involved from the get go, possibly Strallen as well, but I';m only getting information the way the rest of the public is.

The turntables and Butz were about the only things to enjoy in that show.

The concept album has Ramin Karimloo, Sierra Boggess and Scarlett Strallen as the Phantom, Christine, and Meg respectively. John Barrowman sung Raoul on the disc, and Sally Dexter sung Madame Giry.

Forgive me for being slow...but what is a Christine-bot?

And why isn't Sierra Boggess in these interviews?

Christine-bot in LOVE NEVER DIES...

Christine-Bot is apparently the animatronic model of Christine the Phantom built because he's such a sweet, misunderstood, romantic kinda guy and not a crazed psychopath.

^ That alone makes me want to see this show. It just sounds so horribly terrific.
