Chris Sieber's stellar performance of What's Up Duloc on Live with RandK.....Give him a Tony
It also features some stuff on the Show and a stint done by Regis with Brain Darcy James

Posted: 5/1/09 at 8:58pmI'm not sure about a Tony win. A nomination sure, but if you subtract the fact that he's on his knees it's just a fun, hammy and energetic performance. Not sure if it's exactly a Tony winning performance.

Posted: 5/2/09 at 10:37amI wish they would have shown him stand up. When he stood up in in this performance the cameras tried to cover it. I think it is funny when you see him stand and "walk" on the Duloc citizens.

Yeah, the cameras cut away as quickly as possible because they accidentally kept the camera too long on Christopher when he went to the back, thus ruining the illusion of him walking on the dancer's back which is meant to be seen from the front and not behind the dancers.
The entire audience is always fully aware that he is on his knees and wants to keep that illusion flowing so any slight accidental reveal damages the flow, so to speak.

It's amazing Jen Cody is the same size as Chris while he is on his knees. How tall is she?
But this was a very good performance, it will get people to go see the show.
I still want to see Will Swenson will Featured Actor but I love Chris.

Too bad I dislike Shrek in general, that was really funny. Christopher Sieber is the only reason I would consider seeing the show.
I know he must have padding on his knees for all the time he is on them during the show, but I would imagine it probably hurts after awhile, or he just has really strong legs.

Chris is a wonder and I give him mad props for dancing and running on his knees. Even with his "space-age cushions" running on your knees is terrible for body mechanics, but as I imagine Dreamworks, like Disney treats performers like animals, so I doubt they are concerned. The cast of Tarzan is still recovering from walking on their hands. These places are just concerned about how it looks on stage. That scene is a marvel. BRAVO CHRIS! For the record I like Chris with a little more meat on his bones. :)

Thanks for the link.
Though I didn't think the show was my cup of tea, I was glad I saw it at discount, though I wouldn't have spent full price for it. If you can, you should see it just to say you have.
