Is anyone going to the various closing nights next month?
Yes

I will be at Side Show for their final performance.
Never had been to one, seems like it is usually a very fun and special evening.
I am going to the closing performance of Pippin.
I'll be at "Side Show". What seats did you get for your shows? I got front mezz, second row.

Did you used telecharge for your side show closing tix, or another service? I'm looking for 1 inexpensive ticket.

I was at the final performance of Xanadu. The show was always a hoot, but NOTHING compared to the goings-on that afternoon. Jackie Hoffman tore the place apart!
Junie2,
My "Side Show" tickets were comped but you can get $55 seats in the rear mezzanine on the side. From what I understand, they are not bad seats.
Been to a few. Sometimes, it is an emotional affair. Other times the curtain comes down and that is it.

I'll be at Once's closing. I feel like that one will be an emotional one for sure.
"Once" is sure to be an emotional one. I had to choose between "Side Show" or "Once", but I know I will most likely never see a professional production of "Side Show" again.
Once was enough. If you liked it, great. It left my wife & I cold . Sorry. The movie was beyond boring.
Sideshow is better in everyway especially musically. Comparing the scores is like comparing a Kia (Once) to a Lexus (Sideshow)- no comparison. Not seeing either one for varying reasons.
I'm going to the final performance of Rock Of Ages.

Thank you! Are those $55 side mezzanine seats just thru telecharge? I'm not seeing them on the site. Thanks for your response!
Yes, they are on telecharge. Just go to the mezzanine, and pick the side.
It'll be at ONCE for it's final performance. Should be a great, emotional performance on Sunday.
I was offered tickets for the final SIDE SHOW but turned them down. I used to like attending final performances, but now it's considered appropriate for the 13-20 year olds to just do nothing but scream at the top of their lungs through the entire thing, no matter what show it is. It's beyond rude and just ruins the experience for me.
I agree Jordan. It's all ridiculous screaming all throughout and it does take away.

Marway 44 you've been very helpful and patient. Thank you. Cheapest ticket now showing on telecharge is $156. I have to say I'm a little perplexed. I have some connections with the show and we were told that we couldn't receive comps to the closing. Then I read about a couple of members on here receiving comp offers. Hmmm. Scratching my head.
I'm still looking for 1 inexpensive ticket for the closing night and another for Jan 1. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. I've purchased for the Friday and Saturday shows thru today tix.
Thank you!
Not a problem Junie...happy to help! Did you pick the extreme sides in the back of the mezzanine? That's where I was seeing them yesterday.
Front row for Once and Row C for Rock of Ages
Mrs R saw the last performance on TDF today so she booked it.
We will have dinner afterwards nearby. Doubt we will need to worry about seeing Sideshow 3.0
Closing night of HEATHERS was one of the greatest nights of theater i've experienced. The house was full, everyone there was there because they simply loved the show, and the cast and audience ate every moment up. What a night!

I was at the closing night of Carrie, and Marin actually decided to play something adjacent to Margaret White that night, that was nice.
