You know, as much as I hate this show, I'd see it for David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria.

If you want to see it with Hank and David you better go soon. They are leaving early April. Both are great in their roles. I'm surprised they haven't announced replacements yet. I heard David Turner for David, but he's doing the tour.
I was thinking maybe Bronson Pinchot for Hank's roles. He's good at voices. I loved Alan in it so it would be great if they brought him back.

Did you see it during a performance when both David and Hank were out? Or do you just hate it out of principle?
I disliked this show immensely.
I'm still coming to terms with the fact that broadway86 said they were fully deserving of the best musical tony. I think I need to ponder this one all day.
Haha- You're not alone. I walked out of this show having gained only one thing: a headache. But, I won;t bash it. It just isn't my type of humor. My chemistry teacher loves it. Play is nonstop-even during exams.
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Michael McGrath as Patsy---one of the best parts of the show, for me. Well, okay, everyone was good, but he played Patsy wonderfully (as well as being very nice at the stage door!) Can't wait to see it again in a few weeks!
If Tim Curry's voice was better than Simon's---he must have one helluva voice (yes, I'm familiar with Rocky Horror, but that was a long time ago..), becasue Simon has a very strong and beautiful voice. And to see Simon prance out during the opening (as if on a horse)..was hilarious! He was terrific and I feel lucky to have seen his performance.
Bronson in Hank's role...that would be interesting..How about Mark-Linn Baker in David's role, too?

i would have liked to see this show, but without sara in it, i just wouldnt enjoy it
and by the time i go to nyc in july, there will be a million other shows i rather see too!
is "the song that goes like this" super funny? i heard it made fun of POTO with the chandelier and all...
I thought "You'll Never Succeed On Broadway" was funnier, but maybe when Sara and Chris S. performed the other song, it was funnier than when I saw it...Andrew Lloyd Weber seems a little tired as a target of parody, IMHO.
