I don't plan on going back to see Rannels but I will go back to see Hall. This is awesome.
Does anyone know whether Lena Hall will be continuing with the show after Rannells leaves?
I thought I saw on her twitter she would leave in December. But I'm not totally sure...
I think I'll see this now.
FYI: Lena will be on vacation Sep 29-Oct 5.
Lena said on twitter she is continuing her run with MCH, minus her vacation mentioned above.
Hmm it does say that on her twitter... I'm so happy she's staying on longer! I wonder where I got December from?
The kid from BREAKFAST CLUB is going to play Hedwig?! Holy crap now I have see this show again! So excited!

You are kidding, right, Bacon???
So happy, Michael C. Hall puts 100% into every role. I can't wait to see him in this show.

*I* laughed, SBGirl, but then again I have proven I am the unacceptable type of disrespectful and inappropriate.
That's actually a fairly clever joke- Michael C. Hall is not Breakfast Club star Anthony Michael Hall... but Breakfast Club star Ally Sheedy DID notoriously play Hedwig; the only female to play the role in its original production.
Michael C. Hall does not equal Anthony Michael Hall

I would assume that Shannon Conley will play Yitzhak during Hall's vacation. And did anyone else notice during Christmas week that there's only 4 performances scheduled with none on December 27(Saturday).

Oh man I REALLY want to see this but I doubt he will be playing long enough. I hope they release a good promo video.
He is playing the role through January 4th.

Dammit. I wanted to see it December 27, or as I call it Boxing Plus One Day.
Hope this results in a regular Sunday eve show, either in addition to or instead of the Sunday matinee. (Doesn't seem like a "Sunday martnee" show anyway.) There are Sunday eve shows through all of Rannels' run, and they just added one for Oct 19 (MCH's first). Sadly, the only open show slot for my upcoming trip is Sunday eve, the 26th. So, there's a Sunday PM show for EVERY Sunday up to that one. Blurg.
I was skimming through the Broadway thread at Datalounge earlier today and someone revealed that the producers had been in negotiations with Andy Karl but were unwilling to change the title to HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY FOOT.
Hehe was just a little joke.
