This production is very different from the original version, regardless of Doyle's instrument concept. After having seen this production, it is understandable that the OBCR wouldn't do it for you anymore.
Just like after seeing last years Sweeney, going and listening to the OBCR wouldn't evoke any memories of that production because they are so different on so many levels.
Kyle, since you've heard it, two questions I'm too impatient to wait for the CD to have answered: is Another Hundred People sung straight through, or does it have the dialogue breaks in it? Did they include Bobby screaming" stop!" before Being Alive?
Very nice! I love that all the lyrics are decipherable in the "Company" clip, a lot of times they overpower each other and you can't make out the individual words.
Screw it, I'm ordering on Tuesday. I have no patience to speak of.
Of course it has the dialogue breaks! And of course it has the scream! I said it was amazing didn't I?! :)

Is it really harsh and going to be deafening, or was it pretty'd up so I won't have to skip it for an easy listen?
I love the clarity of the lyrics on COMPANY, I just have some reservations as of now, but I can't wait to listen
AAAAH, so Another Hundred People includes the scene with Kathy? Pretty much this seals the deal, I have to order this ASAP.
Edited for stupidity.

Jenny? April and Kathy are in AHP, and Marta's scene is right after.
Oops, Kathy. What am I thinking?
Silly =P
Yes, I must be preoccupied thinking about how I have to be several places at once tomorrow...
The scream is not harsh in the recording. It's not any louder than people belting, etc.
Ummmmm. Me=excited. That is all I have to say.
Hi, is it Tuesday yet?!
who cares about tuesday. we still won't have em on tuesday.
"The OBC just doesn't do it for me. "
Blasphemy!!!!
personally, the karaoke CD doesn't do it for me...
Though I do enjoy the OBC, I can't listen to it over and over again. If the little clips of the revival are any indication, I will be able to listen to that fooooooreveeeeeer.
does anyone else feel like we spend half our lives waiting for new cast recordings to be released? I hate that *feeling* in my stomach when I'm waiting for something as big as a revival cast recording of Company. I hate this feeling.
But it'll be oh so worth it!
bleh... the anticipation is usually way to big for me. I get upset over the stupidest things. like there not being enough dialogue or pictures or so and so sounded better live...
I know what you mean, but I still can't help being very excited.

Somehow I think everything's gonna be okay.
I'm not Lexi. I mean, if I don't get it within 48 hours of my purchase I may just snap. I'd watch out if I were you.
