Tell Baltimore good morning, hear the bells, welcome the 60's, run and tell that, and figure out where they've been...

for the 2,000th time! Congrats to an incredible show and an incredible cast!

If the grosses start to dwindle, I hope they don't start stunt casting even more than they do already to make their run longer. 2000+ performances is an outstanding run. If it should look likely for a closing in a year or so, I say let it.

Jerry Mathers did get applause during his first entrance.

There was no chemistry between Paul and Jerry it was just odd.
During Timeless Paul carried most of the number it was kind of sad. Alot of the add libs Paul does were not there tonight because of it being Jerry's first night.

Also it was obvious Jerry did not have enough time with rehearsals, because during most of the numbers he was just tripping over his own feet and Wilbur doesnt even dance that much in the show.

On a side note Leslie Goddard went on as Penny. She was great. she brought so much more comedy to the character and it just looked natural unlike Alexa who is very forced and just doesnt have the comedic timing.

Also I want to say as much as people complain about stunt casting at Hairspray I think they have some top notch talent.Darlene Love and Tevin Campbell are both true talent. Also rounding out the cast with Paul Vogt,Shannon Durig and Brynn O'Mally.

It is such a joy everytime I have seen this show.

Leslie was wonderful tonight as Penny! It was so good to see her go on! She really brings a lot to the character. She definetely has great comedic timing (as compared to several other penny's I've seen). and man can that girl sing!

We shall see. I do think it may get a boost this summer with the film coming out, but not nothing lasts forever.

saw it yesterday and it was amazing..i had forgotten how much fun the show is..loved Darlene, Leslie and Tevin especially
