Tomorrow night at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Mr. Shaiman is being honored by the ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) with the Henry Mancini Award for Career Achievement.
Most of my favorite films all have one thing in common and that is the music of Marc Shaiman. It ain't no coincidence.
Have a great time tomorrow Marc- this award is much deserved!

I have always enjoyed your beautiful film scores. To this day The American President remains one of my favorites.
