Though I truly love all the performers, he is the cement in that show, would not be the same without him.
Now I can buy tickets for future shows with less worries.

Posted: 8/4/09 at 12:47pmAlthough I haven't had a desire to see the show, he impressed me on The View during his interview. Wasn't crazy about the performance but he seems to be a pretty nice guy and now for some reason, I want to see him in the show. And I don't care for jukebox type musicals.

I would LOVE to see NPH in *anything* on Broadway, but my real wish is that he'll play Claude in Hair somewhere along the line.
I'd pay serious cash money to see that!!! (although Gavin Creel was great)

Posted: 8/4/09 at 4:46pmWell, Leia has not replied why Constantine has a big ego, but I"m here to say that having spoken to him each night that the show was off broadway, I never saw any indication of that. Just the opposite, in fact. He made it a point to say something friendly every night.

Um, Neil Patrick Harris is a bit.. too old.. and too wrong to play Franz.
Glad Constantine has extended. I hope some of the other cast follow suite.

Wow, so because I'm at work and didn't respond ASAP I'm ignoring you? Sorry I posted in the actor who cares about his fan's thread first. So, now, before I leave work, I will reply.
As a matter of fact, I have seen him many times, during his Idol time, Wedding Singer time and the off Broadway production of RoA. And each time he ignored the fans, one time even stating that he didn't want to take pictures because his "eyes were red". I've seen him ignore 12 year old children. Yeah he's not a diva. I'm sure. Maybe I just caught him on 10 bad nights, who knows?

Must be a different Constantine then. I've seen Rock of Ages 7 times now and each time he is incredibly gracious at the stage door. He'll even go back and ask if he forgot anybody. He signs every playbill and is always willing to take pictures.
I usually get annoyed by actors who are diva's at the stage door. But, Constantine is definitely not one of those actors.

I'm basing my opinion on knowing him personally, rather than witnessing some stagedoor events.

I've seen him many a time at the stage door. He usually looks around at the end and asks if everyone is good and if no on approaches him at that point, he walks off into the NYC crowd and is gone.
He was quite patient with a large group of friends I had with me the last time I was there a couple weeks ago.
I am sure there are times when he just wants to get out of there, though. I can't blame him for that. I don't stick around after 5 at my job. :)
