Constantine Maroulis to star in Rock of Ages film?

Have I been living under a rock?

According to this article, Connie is starring in the movie version of Rock of Ages.

"Maroulis plans to leave the show this summer so he can star in the film version of "Rock of Ages," directed by Adam Shankman, then tour with the "Rock of Ages" traveling show this fall."

What with the tour, and other things in his life going on, he is going to have one busy summer....

Not once the beans are spilled about the bun in the oven! Hollywood doesn't go for crooners who can't keep in in their pants! They'll find someone else who's of better moral fiber.

Well, filming is supposed to start this summer, so I would think things are underway by now. Funny, I haven't heard zip about the casting.

Er, no. Constantine isn't starring in the film. The movie doesn't even have a cast. I would be shocked if it were filming this summer.

I remember Heights was supposed to start shooting in August, but that was pushed back to "early 2011". I'm sure its the same situation with ROA.

I think the whole "He's a whore" thing is ridiculous. They might be in a relationship? We don't know.

Besides which, why should we make judgements about his career and it's future because he is having a baby with his partner?
