ljay889- Me too. That is why I think they might not have his character pass away on the show. I can't imagine them making her relive this moment again for the show.

Why not? The entire cast did it for John Spencer in The West Wing when he passed during the run of the show. Chenoweth, as Leo's (Spencer's character) assistant, even had to discover his body. It was handled well and respectfully.
