You "could", but I don't know where:
One: what do you do with all your girls?
Two: how many boys at that age are willing to seriously play drag?
Three: how many could do it well?
Four: If you think about a BOYS school performing, it would go against their "image".

La Cage aux Follies? Really?
Maybe right after they do The Sound of Muzak
or perhaps North Pacific or even The King and Me.

I'm sure some have and some will, but I can't see your average high school doing it from subject matter (too "controversial") to casting (will THAT many guys be willing to do drag? or would you just cast girls and pretend they're guys?).
Then again, I'm surprised when I hear of a HS Company, Gypsy, heck, even Legally Blonde (no way my school would have allowed a "gay or European" song, as sad as that is to say.
