What is your favorite show currently running on Broadway? If you could only recommend one show currently running, which would you choose?

Impossible to answer. One size doesn't fit all.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

My favorite show is Hedwig, but I can't recommend it with Taye Diggs. My next favorite is Fun Home, which is lovely. I would whole heartedly recommend it.

I would say Hamilton for sure but I think the issue there is you're going to be so mind blown that you're going to need to see it again. I'm kind of burnt out bc I saw it too many times but man, the first time- forget it. It's worth the secondary market price to me. Plus, you're sure to spot a couple celebs for at least the next month.
It's hard to answer for plays bc there aren't many great ones IMO but I'm seeing a bunch next month.

Kinky Boots! By far the best. Well maybe not by too far, there are several great shows. But by a lot.

Fun Home, but to those that I know would be uncomfortable with it, unfortunately - Les Mis. I would say Hamilton, but I have not seen it yet. When I listen to the cast recording, it will most likely be my answer after Fun Home.
Every so often there was a rare moment of perfect balance when I soared above him.

Les Miserables, though that will likely change when I go to New York next month. And actually, I haven't even seen the current production (but even bad Les Mis is better than any of the other current shows I've seen).

"On the Town" ( It is stunning and far better than the shows currently selling out, with the exception of Hamilton, which I can't afford yet) and "Hand to God" (It's pathetic that there are only two plays currently running on Broadway)
