I'm loving it so far. It's intermission, and I've already bought the cast album. Such a cute and clever show.
I forgot about livestream having an app on roku. I'm going to watch the 2nd act on there.
Oh. I was able to rewind to the start of the livestream Which is about at the 33 minute mark.

Same here. I am loving this music.
Oh I did not know you could rewind! I can in 40 minutes late so thats nice.
Such a charming show I never would've heard of had it not been for the publicity for this streaming. Reminds me a lot of THE STORY OF MY LIFE, one of my favorite shows I've ever been in!
So much better on the livestream app on roku.
What a nice little show. Great streaming, I thought living in Melbourne, Australia I would have to wait until 8pm our time instead I am able to watch while having lunch.

So glad to revisit this beautiful little show. McGinnis ravishing. So happy to see Halpin. Nolan was wonderful, Halpin is very different and equally as charming. I should revisit in the actual theatre.
This show is so delightfully quirky and I can't believe I probably never would have looked into it if I hadn't heard about this live stream. I feel like this show is proving why this is actually a viable kind of option for theater, and that it's actually helpful and not hurtful. if I was in New York, I would have already booked a ticket to see this in person by intermission

I will not be a spoiler, but suffice to say that when I saw this in previews, I was so. Ery agressively rooting for a certain outcome before the final scene. I really and truly was actively rooting. I was so won over.

I never would have seen this show, and I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity! I'm definitely getting the cast album. I have a feeling this will be the best carry-me-away-while-sitting-in-traffic CD in my collection. What an endearing piece, and Meghan McGinnis is a star!
I loved it. My internet connection hates streaming content for whatever reason so I had to refresh the page a few times and miss parts but it's a beautiful show and I hope more shows do this.

I am running into the city for an upcoming holiday weekend and I have an open show slot that I am holding for a day-of decision (with a few options). This is now going on the short list.

Really appreciative of the opportunity to see his wonderful show. What he is saying right now about bringing the show to people around the world., it exactly true. For someone who doesn't live in NY, what a terrific introduction to off broadway. Next time I'm in NY, it will push me to look beyond the big hit shows on broadway, to discover treasures like Daddy Long Legs. Thanks for such a lovely evening at the theater! It was a wonderful, sweet, show. I will definitely tell my friends in the NY area to go see the show! I think it was a very smart use of digital marketing.

Seriously? I think everyone will guess the outcome--it doesn't mar the enjoyment.
Really enjoyed the stream!
Had to miss Act 2 to run errands, finally catching act 2 on the West Coast feed. VERY long intermission...

I'm really glad this happened. It's a really good show that deserves to be seen/heard.
It was lovely to be able to see the show again. I'm so glad they were able to do this!
Tip: don't lay down in bed, get comfortable, TOO comfortable while watching a live stream after a long work day... I fell asleep haha
I only got to see the first 30 minutes before I fell asleep. It was pretty slow. Hopefully I have time to watch it at another time.
I really appreciated getting the chance to see this show. I don't think it will ever be a favorite of mine, but it was charming. The Livestream also worked surprisingly well; I often have to attend Livestream meetings at work and they're always crashing.
Watching this made me finally made me realize my problem with the NBC live musicals - it's all about the energy. This was obviously a stage show being filmed and therefore had the energy of a stage show and the energy of a full house appreciating the efforts. The NBC Live shows are all so controlled and lack any real spark. Someone needs to remind the producers that the live shows of the 50s were all done by stage experienced professionals who knew the difference between performing live and performing for a camera. The live shows need to be a balance of the two and I think they forget that a lot.
I had zero interest in this but now all the talk is making me very curious... which show(s) would you guys compare this to? I'm trying to decide whether I should watch..

Maybe a cross of "She Loves Me" with some angst, meets perhaps a happier "The Last Five Years"?
