NOT my favorite choice of a theatre for this show...
...but if it's true, get your tickets ASAP.

and in time for this season? could it pull a late season sweep? i forsee this and the color purple, and maybe wedding singer really duking it out.
I'm so glad they got a theatre. This is such a wonderful musical treat. Seeing it was one of the great theatre going pleasures I've had in recent years. And it's definitely the most hilarious.

OMG....PLEASE say it's true!!!
I might cry...for reals.
I so heart DROWSY CHAPERONE!
I really hope this is true I really want to see this show. And to have Sutton back on broadway she is amazing!
Atleast there is a silver linning to The Woman In White closing.
Yay for "The Drowsy Chaperone", but sad for me. I already have tickets to the 6 shows for my upcoming trip. Maybe "Lestat" won't make it to Broadway?
aw, Sutton is going HOME! im so excited! it would be weird/funny if Little Women had played there.
Not my fave theater for this show either...it's just too big and I wonder how long Drowsy can fill a house that size. I wish they'd wait until Chita closed.

it would have to open by the beginning of May to make the 2006 Tony deadline. (May 10th is it? Someone correct me or confirm that date. Thanks!)

I've been having a really good day, all in all, but this just tops it all!
While this is not my first choice of theatres either, I'm just so glad to see this show find a home.
And Sutton could have her old dressing room back!
yay i am excited!

Beings it ran successfully here in LA, I would assume they would only need a week of two of tech...if they retained the entire cast, then it's just a matter of working out the kinks in the new space and then open for previews.
Do peope forget how Sutton, an unknown, sold a good portion of the theater before she won the tony. I don't think she will have much of a problem doing it again.
Anyways with that said, is she out of her brace yet?

She lost the cast by closing week in December.
Wow! This would be wonderful!
Sutton vs. Patti. This I gotta see.
I think Sutton will be considered featured, not lead. So it would be Sutton vs. Felicia Fields.
