I just got off the phone with telecharge so that I could exchange my september 3 tickets for August 27.
There is NO official announcement that has been made that says it will be closing a week earlier. All of telecharge is still informed that the show is running until september 3. They told me if they get word, they will email or call in order to give a ticket refund/switch. But, up till now, Broadway.com is the only site that has made this announcement.
Weird, because you think that telecharge would be informed if this were happening. Although I always trust Broadway.com, right now, I am not sure. When it is released on other sites, I will believe it. But, from what I have learned, DRS WILL play thru September 3.

Just got back from the box office...as of 12:30pm when I was there, they were still selling tickets to September 3rd.

See, I think it will still run thru September 3. I think this is just a false announcement.

Yes, this is really messy. It's disturbing that Broadway.com would post that, yet telecharge and the drs box office have no idea that they are closing a week early. I think it will still be on September 3. I don't know where Broadway.com is getting there info, but something is off.

well, id trust the DRS box office before broadway.com, so id say its still gonna run till sept. 3

I must be blind (or they took it down) -- where on the Broadway.com site does it say DRS is closing this Sunday?

on the DRS page on the site, they still have "closing: august 27th" (or was it the 29th?) and have an article that says "headline: drs to close week earlier" or something like that

I'm confused. Broadway.com is a reliable source but now WithoutATrace says they're still selling through 9/3 (and I doubt he's lying).

yeah, broadway.com has been unreliable a few times in the past
i usually wait till either broadwayworld or playbill says something- they've always been reliable

Yes it does, its not on the main page. You have to go to the show's page and it says Closing: August 27th. And there is an article under related links.

They changed the article back to September 3rd. And they change there what I assume now false article about DRS closing this Sunday to this: http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Story.aspx?ci=535392 Well I'm happy now.
