Gnyah... I was in New York yesterday. Guess I should have stopped by DRS to ask for some news right from the source, (if even the SOURCE knows what's going on?)

I was at the DRS box office earlier this afternoon to ask them (look back earlier in this thread) and they were still selling through September 3rd. But honestly, like WesternSky, I still don't know what the f*** is going on with the closing date of this show. Hopefully it will be resolved shortly.

No one seems to know whats going on.

Whatever, I bought my tdf tickets for the 3rd. If I have to change then I will. But someone better say something solid soon...

Perhaps they were trying to drum up final week sales?

As my favorite musical says

"Broadway.com can kneel down, open its online mouth, and suck my f**king c***!"

[title of show] on Broadway. it's time. believe.

I dont know if this helps, but apparently when I was walking down the street from our hotel to Tarzan, a man was talking on his cellphone to someone telling. "Yes, we close on September 3rd." I only can assume he was from DRS unless something else is closing the 3rd.

Sweeney is also closing on the 3rd, although if you were near Tarzan I guess it's more likely that the person was with DRS.

Okay. DRS is DEFINITELY DEFINITELY back to closing on september 3rd, no way it will be changed.

I don't know apparently yesterday the cast and everyone was informed that they would be closing the 27th, but tonight they went back to the 3rd. So you can't even blame broadway.com, that was the news yesterday.

Whatever, I guess details and what happened doesn't matter, but DRS WILL BE CLOSING SEPTEMBER 3RD.

Well, I just posted before reading what I missed. So yeah, pretty much what the variety article said.
