Looks like City Center is keeping this "red" theme for their summer series:
The color's are just like the ones for Gypsy.
I like this better. Gypsy's was eyes and some hair. This isn't great, but it's better.
Yeah, but it resembled Patti LuPone.
The girl in this artwork looks more like Chenoweth than Krakowski.
I don't consider that a good reason, ljay. The truth of the matter is that neither one is/was impressive, but I feel that this one is the lesser of two evils.
I thought the LuPone one was great. Simple and elegant.
I think it is fairly good. I like it better than the Gypsy poster.
I agree with BJC, looks like they're trying to start a trend to create some year-to-year continuity with the Summer Series. It can't be coincidence that they're using the same basic color scheme, and what appears to be the same main typeface, as Gypsy.
And I like it...I just think the oversized baseball cap (in a darker black than the rest of the body) looks like an afterthought.
Looks nice!
It's kind of eh.
And the Gypsy one was awkward. The eyes and hair looked like those of Liza Minelli, not Patti LuPone.
I agree with LJay. I wish they had tried to have a Lola that looked like Krakowski, and I also think Applegate should be involved in the artwork.
I think she looks more like Kerry Butler than Krakowski or Chenoweth.
It's very pin up. I like it.

Pardon me. Why isn't Cheyenne Jackson's name listed on the cover? He's gonna be the reason some people are going to the show. (Please don't anyone point out that Jarrod Emick was considered a supporting actor in the 1994 revival -- he wasn't a name at the time; had he been, he also would have been listed above the title. Stephen Douglas had the same billing as Gwen Verdon and Ray Walston in the original before Gwen became the "star" and Tab Hunter, albeit for different reasons, was above the title in the movie.)
I like it.
He's gonna be the reason some people are going to the show.
Sorry, but...relatively few people.
Hayes and Krakowski are easily the bigger draws. Most of the people that would buy a ticket just for Cheyenne Jackson already know he's in the show and don't need the poster to inform them.
I like the colors and the type but the drawing is kinda crummy.

It's not bad. Not horrible by any means, but a bit generic. Just overall "blah" is what I get from it.
