mine is exactly the same. except my shelf stacks diagonally so it fits in the opposite way. but, aside from that the packaging is beautiful...

Posted: 1/23/06 at 3:22amthe picture is too blurry, but my CDs are all alphabetized too. I finally gave in when I started not being able to find certain CDs. it's so much better. I almost want to buy those letter dividers that they use to organize CDs at stores... but then I feel like I should have show labels too for some of the shows that I have six different recordings for... maybe I'll do both... I dunno...

I don't know why the packaging has to be so huge. I have the soundtracks to the original Star Wars movies, and they have the same sort of thing (an actual book that serves as the CD case as well), and they fit very nicely with the rest. Odd.
But, either way, its a wonderful cast recording.

Phantom of the opera's film soundtrack has a book like that as well that isn't ginormous.
And I alphabetize my shows by composer...and usually listen to them in order....I'm a dork I know, but sometimes it's fun to listen to a person's catalog.
