I'm sorry if you're tired of seeing Dear Evan Hansen threads, but I am going into the city for one day in September and I have been a huge fan of DEH for the longest time, and would really love to see it before Ben leaves. I've been looking on Telecharge and testing the thing where random tickets for shows that are four days ahead get released every day randomly, and it's worked, but today it stopped working. I'm still going to keep trying Telecharge, and I was also going to try StubHub. I know StubHub prices go way down the day of the show or the day before, like I'm looking at 150 dollar tickets right now for tonight's show, but sometimes they don't go down. I was also going to try the cancellation line. Does anyone have any tips for any of these ticket websites or the cancellation line or just getting tickets in general???

You got lots of information there. Nothing new will be uncovered in a new thread. If you're looking for more info, just bump that old thread instead of starting a new thread with all the same questions/statements as before.

If you really want to see it then Stubhub is the way to go. They seem to always have tickets and their ticket prices are not that unreasonable, though don't forget that Stubhub does charge a fee.

The prices (as far as ive seen) do not go down the day of the show. And I dont mean to burst your bubble but the original tickets on bway.com were 180 plus 60 dollar fee, so finding them on stubhub for 150 is nearly impossible. I stalked stubhub for days and only found $200 tickets but a $100 fee, dont forget the people on stubhub are there to make money not lose money on a $180 ticket

"The seller pays the fee "
That's not 100% true. Both the buyer and the seller pay a fee. I believe it's like 10% for the buyer, 15% for the seller. Meaning, if a ticket were $100, the buyer would pay $110 and the seller gets $85. Therefore, stubhub makes $25.

Today I just literally found 150 dollar tickets on StubHub for tonight (well yesterday's) and tomorrow's (now today's) performance... but maybe that's because Ben is out and a lot of people want to sell their tickets because of that.

I'm gonna divert from the OP to get my own question answered. I was already given an answer for this but I'm slightly confused.... So my understanding of partial view tickets they are only sold at the box office, but they are sold in advance not through the cancellation line. Is that about right?

Jorge, yes the partial view seats are sold in advance, therefore they're sold out for a while. I would imagaine they're not sold in cancellation because they're probably rarely cancelled.

Thats true, so if you want to see Ben your best stub hub option is sept. 20th for $260, but don't forget fees

Well I've still seen ticket prices go down to around 190-200 even when Ben is performing so I think I'll just try on the day of the show or the night before.

Should I splurge on 325 (plus fees) tickets on StubHub right now or try 4-days-out on Telecharge and StubHub the day before and of the show?

You can do all three. Buy that ticket, and if you get one four days out, put one pair back on StubHub; and if you get one day of, sell a pair to someone in the cancellation line (they will only typically pay face, though. If they wanted to pay StubHub costs, they wouldn't be standing there).
