Watched Bill O'Reilly on Fox News last night and they had an interview with Diana where a stalker hacked into her MYSPACE and then hacked into her computer, got phoneE-listings,identity theft started harrasing her every hour and then tried to extort money. The FBI got on it and came through and traced it to Australia where that person has now been arrested and awaiting trial. She will also be on Inside Edition tonight.

People watch your computers what you store on it. Your computer is an open book to hackers bank accounts etc.

What amazes me is this was all going on this spring and summer-a time of great professional success for Diana. I can't believe how well she performed while under so much personal stress.

I found this on another board: it's a review/breakdown of the pertinent things Diana talked about on the O'Reilly show last night. This is outrageous stuff:

-The girl (actually an adult woman from Australia) began asking inappropriate questions about Diana's personal life, including sexual preference. Diana began deleting the messages and ignoring the girl.
-The girl obtained Diana's personal cell phone number and began calling her sometimes 70 times per day. She also installed spyware on Diana's computer and stole all her friend's email addresses, all of Diana's email addresses. She began posing as Diana, sending messages to Diana's fans and business associates along the lines of "I'm looking for drugs" or making requests for sex. Diana didn't mention it on TV but it is also known the girl stole personal photos, harassed her friends and claimed to have gotten several songs Diana had recorded for her CD.
-When Diana broke down on the phone when the girl called, asking her "What do you want from me?" the girl stated "money," and the FBI was soon involved.[/Quote]

It's actually really scary stuff because it could happen to anyone. I laugh that the person asked for a million dollars - Diana's on Broadway, not a huge star in a major motion picture or tv show! I wouldn't be surprised if people in the Broadway community got contacted by this person posing as Diana, so I think it's good she went on TV to share her story.

Ha, well all the Macy's parade performances are lip synched.

That sucks.
My uncle had his identity stolen 4 years ago and hes still having issues with getting money out of his accounts, etc.

Ahhh and Diana is so young! Also she is such a sweet girl :)


I wonder if the women one day would show up at hairspray and just start doing Diana's part....thats ultimate idenity theft!!

With the heavy screening for undesirables it seems unlikely that a visa will be granted to visit the US so don't look for her on Broadway.
Man I don't know how Diana kept her head together, this has been going on 24/7 for about 8 months.Talk about stress. What a trooper!
