ordinarily, no. In the case of Hamilton, because the math is ineluctable, yes.
Obviously, if a show is selling decently and their gross potential are staying above 50%, it will keep running, regardless if it has recouped or not.

That's what I was responding to. Again, if you go to a store and no one is in there on a consistent basis, chances are that store will close. You don't have to ask the store for their balance sheet to figure that out.
You might not. someone interested in the business side of the store might however. Just as we don't all like the same shows, we aren't all interested in the same things. When I go to a show with a lighting designer they spend a lot of time checking out the plot.
