The whole thing will be in English with French subtitles as always.
In my heart, I found the answered dream,
and in my soul I found the song, and in my friends
I found the magic, the love,
the moon up above- they were mine, all mine, all along..!
Thank you, After Eight and mrcacou, for your answers.
Really looking forward to it. Since I'm the one with the long legs who always gets the aisle, I'll be in the strapontin seat (but I'm also the one most likely to be transported) Our friends, who are not big musical theatre fans, will appreciate that both acts are in English.
I'm expecting lots of visual splendor - both the magnificent theatre itself and in the production design from the sketches I've seen.
We'll be heading home early the next morning, so will be eating pre-theatre. Any suggestions for a reasonable cafe/bistro/brasserie nearby for a quick meal beforehand?
There are two café-brasseries flanking the theatre: Au Vieux Châtelet and Le Zimmer. I haven't eaten in either, but I checked them out on Yelp. Someone recommended the onion soup at the latter. I'd say check out the comments on Yelp and see if either of these fills the bill for you.
