I only got to 38% cuz it was taking too long but what I saw was pure fun. I remember DRS was having a backstage contest. I wonder what happened with that.

Sounds like a fun cast to be backstage with. That's many shows but this one seems great!
This definitley makes me feel better about my friend going backstage and not taking me...
Ok, whatyouown, can you share? I entered that contest...but, hey, I won the lottery to see it for the 2nd time..some comfort.
Huh? I hadn't heard anything about a contest...her cousin has connections with John Lithgow. Major jealousy!
Sara's cleavage thing is HILARIOUS!
I love Joanna. Soooo funny. That comment about the dressing room. Priceless.
Sherie was amazing, as well, and so was Norbert and Greg J. John seemed void of personality, though.

Cool. Love it.
John was getting ready to go on stage, and heck, he's a bit more mature than the rest of the folks--he was probably conserving his energy.

Oh my god...that made my crappy day, which is now less crappy due to the video!
i think wendy is right about john, he's in his 60's and playing a beast of a role.... if i were in his position i literally wouldn't move until the last possible moment
Yes, he said he needed to get around 12 hours sleep to keep his performing up to par. I don't blame him!
That was hilarious!! I want to see this show soooooooo badly!!

I think actors are amazing! All they do to get ready , everyday.
I'm in shock over the peeing in the sink revelation! I love how you can watch the videos over and over without streaming (AFTER the looooooong load)
Am I the only one who thought Norb looked a bit shell shocked in comparison to the others? He WAS trying but he really looked like he felt his space was being invaded. John god bless him just looked a bit tired. Think he might have to sit out the occ matinee.
Gah. That was fun.
It makes me happy to know that casts on Broadway, even big-name ones, have fun with each other and are like family. They seem so normal in that wacky actor sort of way. Hooray.
You are too fat to live.

sabrelady, from what I hear, Norbert always acts like he's being invaded in some way or another. considering the stories I've heard, he seems fine on this video!
WHAT stories? Don't just put that out there & not back it up. I mean yes I believe Norb is a classic "shy extrovert" which is what so many performers are. Yes I know there was a posting about him running away b4 a performance but other than that....
He certainly was open & friendly @ the stage door when I met him.
I got to go backstage at DRS and it truly was a wonderful opportunity to see the pure mechanics of the stage and to really get to talk with the actors. I will never forget that night.
I have no more words to describe that experience...
kisses
mebice-How did you get to go backstage? What everyone exhausted? With whom did you have the most enjoyable conversation? I would imagine Greg and John would be so open and great to speak with...and Norbs...well, let's just say I would like to stand very, very close to him.
Sherie Renee- She was particularly wonderful. I loved them all. I actually went backstage the night before I saw the show. I saw the sets and props and costumes even before the show. And I don't exactly know how I got backstage...I was just very lucky. I mean I wasn't at all expecting that.

ahh love this video! but in my opinion...not enough norbie..too much sara getelfinger. lol.
that was a great video. Very funny i can't wait to see the show again!

Ha that was great! i love when broadway.com does those kind of videos!
John was getting ready to go on stage, and heck, he's a bit more mature than the rest of the folks--he was probably conserving his energy.
This is true. But he just seemed so....snooty? It might've been the accent.
