No, just student rush, 1 hr before show.
I'm going this week! Anyone else?
re: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Boston#4

How long does it run at the Opera House? I might see it.
Beware Saturday nights, they don't do rush then.
Actually, on second thought, there's probably no point for me to see it. I've seen it twice on Broadway and that's enough for me.

saw it in Providence on Saturday. Great show. (I still dont care too much for the music...even after seeing it a second time)
As usual the tour set is scaled back, but only a tad compared to New York. Doesn't affect show though. (the only thing I missed was the Oklahoma cactus and sun that folded down from the resteraunt scene) Tom Hewitt is fantastic! DB Bonds is an okay Freddie he was a little too cartoony, (I miss Norb...) but the two work very well together. The women are both Fantastic. I lost some of Andre's lines due to his accent. All in all great great cast (Ensemble has a nice full rich sound)
New Opening Number!?!?!?...I liked the original...

I think they sell until they're sold out.

The new opener sounds intriguing, even though I liked "Giving Them What They Want". I'm always excited for new David Yazbek music.
I'm looking forward to seeing the tour sometime this week.

Posted: 3/5/07 at 1:09pmI'd like to go tomorrow night but with it being opening night I'm kind of worried it will be sold out. It is about an hour drive for me to get to Boston so it's taking a risk!
re: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Boston#16
Posted: 3/5/07 at 1:16pmI'll be rushing this Friday, I'm going to hope it won't sell out considering it's the Opera House and it rarely ever does, but if anyone is going before then, let me know how the situation is.

I can't give you any info about the Opera House in Boston, but I saw the show in Appleton. We did rush two separate nights and got fantastic orchestra seats both times. I don't know what that exactly means for Boston, but if you show up for rush right away, I'm guessing that you should be fine.
I love the new opening number. I actually prefer it to an original. I also found the current cast to be fantastic. It's a shame that the new material and these performers don't get preserved on a cast recording.

Don't get too excited. It is incredibly boring, IMO.

Thanks for the info! I was in Boston a few weeks ago with my mom and I went to the Oprea House to see if the had a Rush policy. The guy who I had at the box office was very nice but he didn't know my answer.
I just want an excuse to see the Oprea house I seen pictures on the inside but I want to see it my self. The lobby is stunning for those who have never been.
The one ticket per id might be a problem for me since I night see it with my mom. We she be able to get tickets at full price when I get a ticket?
