Believe it or not Divine was the inspiration for Ursula. I'm not really sure who started it, but Ashman grew up in Baltimore the same time Divine did. I hope they get someone like Eartha Kitt to play this part. I know this is just a joke, but from the looks of the directors previous work "The Little Prince" and "Aladdin" it's not too far from where they are headed. It's a shame Crowley isn't designing for that show

The Ursula costume actually doesn't look that bad.

Alan Meken I believe wrote new songs.

they ahve had many workshops.

there are many new songs...

like:

Daughters of Triton (an extended version)
Human Stuff
Wasting Away
That World Above
Sweet Child
Her Voice
Posituvity (not a sp error)
Beyond my Wildest Dreams
If Only
All Good things must end

Personally, I cannot wait for this. The Little Mermaid used to be one of my favorite Disney movies ever!
