This sounds really interesting. Can't find any info about dates they are going to show it, but Sondheim is supposed to be there. I wonder if it will make it to cable for us out-of-towners.

I've really been looking forward to this as well. :)
This has been in the making for years and years and years! Can't believe its finally released. But with such little notice!

I've also read that Sondheim and Price will be in attendance but there are two separate screenings. I'm wondering if they'll be at both, or which one?
Yeah, I had forgotten all about this but am very excited. Also, the rumour on fb is that Netflix has bought it.

Oh man! I really need to see this. I am obsessed with 'Merrily'.
The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will present the musical, under the direction of Tony Award winner John Doyle, with an actor-musician cast
Ugh.

Ann Morrison has confirmed that Netflix has bought it. I hope we don't have to wait too long for it to do endless film fests beforehand :P

Least surprising post of all time.
Trailer is out. This looks thrilling.

I think I recognised a middle -aged James Weissenbach in the trailer - it will be very interesting to understand how this impacted on his life. I'm glad he felt able to participate.
Does anyone know if Pinkins is in this doc?
The documentary looks wonderful and oddly like it could be a much more moving and persuasive argument about the themes of MERRILY than the actual musical itself.
