It is supposed to be here in Denver in January or February. I have to check and see if it will still be here. Sounds like it might not.

The book lagged on and on with mediocre songs interspersed throughout. The costumes, scenery, and special effects were just laughable (perhaps they skimped a bit too much for the tour to be effective?). All the actors were great, doing the best they could, but it was just not enough to save them from this travesty.

Sounds like a pretty good description of the source material. Perhaps they stayed a little too close. I am sure that those words were all used in reviews when this film was released.

I do think the song Your Eyes is beautiful, even if it is sung to a seal.

Nothing wrong with seals, in fact my baby seal skin coat is one of my favorite possessions! Which reminds me, I need to get that out of storage now that the weather is turning.

Our 2006 season was just announced in today's paper. Doolittle is on it. Scheduled to open on January 31st.

I pass the "Doolittle" marquee in Chicago every day to and from work, and on my lunch break today I saw that they had taken it down.

True - the tour is cancelling cities - they want to retool the show.

I don't know for how long or which cities will be affected. I suspect an announcement will come today or tomorrow. Either from PLO or from the individual cities.

one of the first changes they should make is to have "Like Animals" be the act one finale and not "When I Look In Your Eyes"...
