Isn't that the best?? I met this girl and her aunt while stage dooring at Equus, and they were proabbly some of the coolest people I've ever met. Her aunt went on a Starbucks run while we were waiting and bought me coffee, then I helped them do some shopping in Toys R Us. They even made sure I got back to my train, haha.

So I am finally home after an incredible night at Rock of Ages, enjoying my steaming mug of organic Tazo chai
I got to see Emily Padgett as Sherrie tonight, and she was a pleasant surprise. She's got such a strong voice, and she handled the role pretty well. I'm assuming she has a lot of dance experience, it looked like she was having a hard time trying to be awkward, haha.
And Jeremy Woodard was on as Stacee Jaxx, OH. MY. GOD. Haha, he was having so much fun with it, and I was so glad I got to see him in the role. He throws in more little jokes than James, and was such a gem.
OH, and Paul is back as Hertz? That had totally slipped my mind. I was so excited to see him there! He byassed the stage door and went to his bicycle to drive off which was adorable that I forgive him.
Overall it was a good night. Mitch & Adam were more ridiculous than ever, at one point Adam just lost it was couldn't stop laughing while Constantine was waiting to sing while Mitch tried to compose himself. The audience was insanely into it, and I witnessed probably my favorite adlib EVER. When Lonny is explaining to Drew how he's in a musical, it was quiet and someone just goes WOO-HOO!! Mitch just laughed and goes "Really? Alright. I don't know what the hell I'm saying up here anymore anyway." I was dying and then Constantine was just like "Really, if you could just shut the f*** up until the end of the show that'd be great." into the audience. I Actually got to see Mitch after the show, he was beyond exhausted and groggy but graciously took pictures with us anyway. I think I almost passed out as he put his arm around me, but I'm insane like that. <3
I could go on for days so I think I'll leave you all to muse on that.
i attest to the "cast being on crack" vibe today... both shows were AMAZING! I LOVE LOVE LOVE JWo as Stacee.

StarStruckGB, glad you had a great time. I LOVE JWo's Stacee and was sooo looking forward to seeing him. Unfortunately I woke up sick! Was hoping to get to meet you!
Ohh no! I'm getting over something myself, so I feel for you <3
I had no idea you were considering going today though! That could have been crazy, haha. I think I'm going to actually attempt a lotto at some point, and I'll let you know
didn't mean the "on crack" comment as negative. they were just hysterical, we told JWo that he was "on crack" after the matinee and he thought it was hysterical. today was one of those "there must have been something in the water" days.
there has been a ton of little mishaps lately, and cast members have been more playful with eachother. for example, the last few times i've seen Ericka as Waitress #1, it's been let's see how many times different cast members can smack her ass.
i think whenever there are understudies on, it changes the dynamic. those are some of my favorite show memories, and not just at RoA.

He can play Stacee Jaxx anytime I'm in the audience.
I clearly don't frequent the show nearly as much as you do, but I think that was the most fun I have ever had during a performance of any show, haha. I forgot to mention, the woman who "Woo-Hoo"ed? I ran into her at the stage door, alcohol in hand. She decided she needed to obnoxiously remind Constantine of how tall and skinny he is. Also, would not stop asking Mitch if his mullet was real. What a treat
Once I finish it I'll have to post it, haha, I started doodling some of the RoA cast the other day & it was surprisingly decent. And the pictures from my adventure last Sunday to the show are on Facebook finally. I trusted my brother to take a good picture of me & Mitch though, he failed :0(
