i've only had once instance, Saturday night a few weekends ago, where they were completely sold out and my friend and i almost got shut out. but they did something weird with how they gave out the lottery seats and a couple was split up and decided they didn't want them so they sold them to us.

I am not entirely sure, but I believe I was told that today (Sunday, November 1) is Emily's first official day as part of the cast. Because it is a Sunday, she will be on as Sherrie.

got a text from a friend at intermission that said Emily's "Harden My Heart" was as good, if not better than Savannah's.

I was at the costume contest, some interesting, but not all that many. a lot of people just had wigs on or something. the person who won was dressed like "sleazy record producer Dennis".

Woah, I didn't know Matt Stocke was joining the cast - is he coming in as a swing?

As far as the SRO/rush availability - I've been told a million different things depending on the day/time I show up. I really think it's just a crapshoot. I was able to get SRO for Thursday's show fairly early on in the day, but during the summer when the show would be sold out much farther in advance, I'd often be told to come back later. (I will say that no matter who I deal with at the box office, they've always been really nice and helpful, which I definitely appreciate.)

Thursday night's performance was great, by the way. Jeremy Jordan, who I LOVE, was on as Drew and as a bonus we had Jeremy Woodard on as Stacee Jaxx. I missed him in his normal track but he was still excellent as Stacee - did not know he had that voice in him! And for those keeping track his line at the end was, 'nobody puts baby in the corner!' (I know Carpinello changes it all the time, kind of wondering if he does that when he's on as well...)

I have not posted anything here in awhile..but Savannah Wise and Ericka Hunter are by far my favorite Sherrie's and I have seen 6 different Sherrie's including off Broadway.
As for Emily she is the only one I have not seen yet.
It is my understanding that Ericka will be waitress #1 until Nov 15th. Then starting the 16th Emily will take over.
Ericka will still be Waitress #1 on Sundays, and will be in the vocal booth and will be a swing.
Such a shame IMO as she is an amazing Sherrie!!!
As for Savannah Wise catch her in Ragtime, she is a Star!

For the record, I love that video, because I remember seeing it on TV, while I was in a Broadway/theatre/life slump and thought, "what is this craziness? And who is that hysterical oddly adorable man" (referring to Mitchell Jarvis)
I went back and watched it when I actually got into the show while youtubing and was like "Oh my God!! That was it!!" Haha.

This nonsense with the new female casting much be insane for everybody.
