Sorry, I missed the end of JLY's speech -- what happened? And did Fran reveal the Best Actress winner before she was supposed to?
"What was the name of that cheese that I like?"
"you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start"
"well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"
Christine beating Lupone is fine by me...Lupone will win the Tony (Ebersol isn't in the running for that yet.) But if Patti's partner doesn't take home that top prize on Tony night...grrrrr.
Beth was so obnoxious in her speech. Lets hope CBS viewers are spared her high school drama student personality on the Tonys.

"You just can't win. Ever. Look at the bright side, at least you are not stuck in First Wives Club: The Musical. That would really suck. "

oh trust me i wanted Marc and Mary to win quite a bit but am very happy for Christine because she seemed to be incredible and I loved her speech and can't wait for the show this fall.
RIP Natasha Richardson. ~You were a light on this earth ~
And I love Jonathan Pryce for his comments. They were both robbed by lazy ass Tony committee writers who couldn't get out to see a show!!

Did they sweep JLY off as a "bit" or because he wouldn't stop talking? I missed it.

well, if it was the rest of the boys who swept him off, I could see them doing it regardless of his speech length, because they are just that close
