She opened the envelope and read from it before she announced all the nominees. She tried to cover it; Christine Ebersole was the first name on the list anyway.

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

I don't deny that the film industry has a sick obsession with youth, (Although your 30 and over comment is an exagerration since the top 3 highest paid film actresses right are all over 30 or over) but Ebersole lost her soul in LA? Yawn. It's not only an unoriginal comment perpetuated by NY'ers, it's a copout.

I really love all four as a team, too! It's clear that they have become amazing friends, and that's rare to see. I get the feeling that John winning is going to be something the other three live vicariously through him.
