Oh heavens Drowsy.
Welcome to all the categories that Jersey Boys couldn't be put in due to, well... music that's been around since the 60s. I wouldn't say it's a Drowsy run... it's just that it's chief competition isn't in the score-related stuff. Book was the only head-to-head thus far.

Wow. Do I smell the Best Score Tony?

But the music in Drowsy is not that good. What's really good is the actual story.
They should just give them a funnel and pour the Drowsy awards down their throats.
Book, Music, and Lyrics and three for three so far-
Oh my.
I love it.
WTF?!?! How is that music better than SWIWS or Grey Gardens? I don't get it!!
I do.

I dunno, not sure I agree with the music award going to Drowsy, but, whatever.
Haven't seen Drowsy yet, but I'm sure that Michael John's score is much better... Ah well, he is Michael John...

Micheal John LaChiusa deserved that awarded, however much I enjoyed Drowsy. Micheal John is so underated.
exactly...Michael John knows that he is just way ahead of his time!
*hopes that Horton doesn't put his Foote in his mouth*
*searches for the fast-forward button again*
I love the uncanny timing on these audience shots. Someone always seems to be in the midst of yawning, stretching, checking a watch, nodding off, or otherwise not paying attention to the stage.

That was a very nice speech by Mr. Foote.

The song from Grey Gardens oddly reminds me of "Your Fault" from Into the Woods.
Wow that was awesome go Christine! that really won me over!
Another Drowsy, and my lord please set Alec Baldwin on this man.
A nice long close-up of Lauren though, I like that.
I can see Alec Baldwin about to come out now . . .
He he - SP we think alike.
