Sunday in the Park with George.
That's it. I'd see it with an American Idol star if I had too!

hey piazzaslight...i must say i saw Frenchie in Rent and Tamyra Gray in Bombay Dreams and they were both outstanding...even though they were in American Idol...actually i think if Tamyra would have opened the show on Broadway it would probably have been more successful..the 1st female lead wasn't too good of a singer.

I would love to see MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG given another chance on Broadway.
Also, Bernadette Peters in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. No one can break your heart with a song like Peters.

MUSCLE: OK, I'll change what I said..
I'd see it if even a DISNEY star was in it playing a lead role.

I could easily see Victoria Clark as Charlotte. I also think that Michele Pawk would make a great Desiree.

I agree, and I also think that Michele Pawk could do Charlotte too.

Michele Pawk has played Charlotte several times. She's very good in the part, but I think she'd be an even better Desiree.

How about Rags? I LOVE that show. I missed the Papermill production of it a couple of years ago, but I wonder how it would fare today on Broadway...

Carrie with Celia Keenan Bolger & Alice Ripley
West Side Story--Laura Benanti as Maria
I'll agree with Sunday in the Park and Porgy & Bess
Carnival (with a bit of work done on the book)
not a musical, but Prelude to a Kiss.
