If Block's off-key "Don't Rain on my Parade" at Broadway Unplugged is any indication of what she would be like in the role, I don't want her anywhere near it. Leslie Kritzer was perfection at Paper Mill a few seasons ago.

I too would love a RAGS revival, with Marin Mazzie as Rebecca.

Block's "Meadowlark" is wonderful. I'm sure everyone is allowed an off performance every now and then.

is not a revival...but i think Kelli O' Hara would be a great Glinda in Wicked...Kelli as Glinda and Eden back as Elphaba...come on..that could be interesting...and then some actress who is in her early hundreds and can't sing to play Morrible...hehe

I would love to see a revival of Into the Woods with Bernadette Peters as the witch again. Unfortunately I was too young when it was on Broadway and Vanessa Williams did not do it justice in the last revival IMO.

Something with Rachel York as the lead, I have loved her in everything she has been in and I think she should become more of a household name.

I'm with you all the way on Rachel York. I'd love to see her in a NEW Broadway musical (such as the recently announced THE PIRATE QUEEN, I think she'd be great!). But she'd be wonderful as EVITA, too. I read an entry that Cheyenne Jackson made on his Web site after he performed in the Cabaret Festival with her. He wrote, "Rachel York is ridiculously versatile." Well said!

I LOVE the musical "Raisin" and I'd love for Audra McDonald to do the role of Ruth, which is has already won a Tony for the play.

Anyone Can Whistle with Bernadette and Audra---that would be a dream come true.

Also, I've always thought how good Sherie Rene Scott would be as Eileen in "Wonderful Town"

That would be awesome....as long as Whitney stayed far far away from it. Anika Noni Rose would be awesome as dorothy. Even Saycon S. would be really good.

I beg your pardon? Not to be rude, but Someone needs a q-tip. Go listen again on her website (a LIVE recording!) and if you still think she's off-key... well I can't do anything to change your mind. I'm just shocked anyone would say such a thing after hearing her.

Any revival could be a good revival, but please if it is a old show and originally had a chorus of say 28, lets have 28 not 16 and a full orchestra too. Two people I don't want to see in a revival anytime soon are Donna Murphy and Bernadette Peters.

I personally think that Kelli O'Hara would make a kick-a** Petra, much more so than an Anne. (ha!) Also, I just have my images cemented of Anne as brunette and Petra as blonde.
