Prince's choice was indeed fantastic, despite being anachronistic. But having Che be just one of the people is a valid choice.

I do wish Broadway would consult with goth before casting. He's been awfully enraged by various choices of late.

I do too. Then maybe we could get some real theater rather than having to sit through some actors/directors discarding all of an author's intentions on character.

I can't see this working without Prince's elegant, genius staging but we'll see....

With Ricky Martin playing Che it should certainly rake in the $$$. So why not?

It hasn't been that long since Kiss Me Kate was revived, but John Doyle's current production at Stratford is nothing short of brilliant. Would love to see that production on Broadway. Who knew the show could be that funny?
