Yeah, but there's been three prime ministers in two months. There could be an election at any time, including during his run. It doesn't really show much consideration for his constituency, or give anybody a reason to vote for her.

For those interested, he has recorded the complete novel. It can be found on audible.com. Obviously this live adaptation will be a totally different experience, but for those who can't make it/want to sample before purchasing might enjoy it.

By the time she reaches the second act’s dizzying tumble of action-packed resolutions, the viewing experience is less about being entertained than rooting for Izzard to cross the finish line with her assurance and charisma intact."
