Having seenWicked a couple of times already (with Idina and Kristin) I am looking forward to seeing it with Eden.

Here's my thing as to who is better. I've never seen Eden, but from the clips I've heard, she was better than Idina was the last time I saw her. Now, the second time I saw Idina, she was a million times better than she is on the CD. I'm thinking that the people that prefer Eden haven't seen Idina at her best. Is this possible? I'm listening now to the clips from the website, but I know that the ones I've heard before, she's flat often. Much better than she was on Chatterbox, but to be as amazing as everyone here seems to make...To be better than Idina at her best...Is Idina that inconsistant, or was what I saw the third time a fluke. She wasn't anything that special the first time I saw it: about on par with the CD, but the second time, WOW! And the third time: EWWWWWWWWW.
All three times I've seen Idina perform, she was ten times better than she was on the CD. I think you have bad luck with catching Idina on good days, MusicPos, lol. But Idina can be a bit inconsistent sometimes...I hear she performs even when she's sick...even with bronchitis a couple of times.
But I also think it is easier for (acting-wise) and understudy or replacement to step in because in a way...much of the "dirty work" for the role in done. Plus, as I said earlier on, Idina cannot take the same vocal liberties that Eden does because she has to save her voice to perform 8 times a week every week, while Eden does not.
