I think every thread you have started has been announced news for at least a month.. Google is your friend.
A quick Google search of Evita revival brings up this article within the first couple of results.
lol... sorry. i saw Ricky Martin's Tweet just now, so it was news to me.

Wow, even Ricky Martin can't get her name right?
Him spelling her name wrong is so unprofessional.
I want this revival to happen NOW. I can't wait.
Same here, I can't wait!
I really hope they include "The Lady's Got Potential" in the revival!
A little awkward they her got her name wrong, but the tweets are not written by R Martin.
Sooo looking forward to this ... Elena Roger is fantastic

I hope they find a way for Che to be shirtless in a couple of scenes. Makes total sense if he was - it gets hot in Argentina.
I hope the show makes Elena Roger a Broadway star - then perhaps she'll get a chance to reprise her sensational Fosca in a revival of Passion.
Seriously? You just NOW found about that Elena Roger AND Ricky Martin were doing this 2012 Broadway revival of EVITA?
Ricky Martin has been mentioning his return to Broadway in EVITA since 2009. When he was a presenter at the 2010 Tony Awards, he was introduced as "... soon to be seen back on Broadway in EVITA".
Wow! And by the way... HAIRSPRAY closed on Broadway. Or so I've heard.
Agreed, these are very old news.
chickfila, Buenos Aires isn't hot all year round. Argentina is not Brazil or the Caribbean.
To be fair to his tweeter - that sounds weird - Ricky himself called her Rogers during his Larry King interview last fall. For all we know the person was just transcribing.
I loved this production in London, with Roger as Evita it was brilliant. But still not sure about Ricky in the role.
I second the Ricky shirtless request. Aiy! Yi! Yi!
OK, I'll stick my neck out here and expect to get it chopped off.
I saw the production in London, and while Elena Roger was indeed wonderful in the role, I was extremely bothered by her accent. Why? Because to me the play is about Eva being "one of the people", but she was the only one in the entire production with any kind of accent and hers was a very strong one. That made her seem more like an outsider than in any other production I've ever seen. It would have been brilliant to me if others had similar accents, but she came off as a total "foreigner" to the people in the play.

i'm pretty sure the director either elena or the ensemble accquire a more normal tone. Roger has apparently improved on that as of late. And to those who were saying she was just an ensemble member in les miz in argentina, i hardly consider fantine a purely ensemble member.
Is she the same Rogers girl who used to be in the Weissman Follies?
The one who married that very rich and famous Benjamin Stone? I hear she's very unhappy now. In spite of her house, her flat, her Braques and Chagalls and all that.

Carlos, I just saw the picture - sorry it took so long! Thanks for that. While I prefer Ricky a bit less "manscaped" I will take whatever skin I can get.
I wonder how Elena Roger in Evita will go down in NY? I loved seeing her play the part here in London, but the show wasn't excatly a massive success.

Does anyone know the days she is NOT performing?
I'm looking forward to it and I hope the director will dump all the copied elements from the film, which means the entire thing needs to be completely redone, lol.
Not that being the film on stage is a cardinal sin, or anything. But it just isn't very imaginative. I'm spoiled thanks to Mr. Prince's incredible work.
